Activating and Deactivating

MetaGeek Chanalyzer 6 is activated by logging in with a MetaGeek Account, whith a username and password.

Each product is deactivated with Help > Log Out, and then the Sign Out button.

Activations per Seat

Each MetaGeek Account can be used by one individual user. An individual is permitted to activate each product on up to five concurrent machines. This policy is designed for users who have multiple machines, for example, a desktop and a couple of laptops.

Each "seat" (user account) can only be used by one user. Multi-seat licenses are available for purchase, if multiple users need access to MetaGeek Enterprise Suite applications.

Here’s what to do next:
  • Step 1
    Download and Install Chanalyzer
    Once Chanalyzer has finished downloading, run the installer.
     
  • Step 2
    Start Software
    In the Sign In window, use your my.metageek.com credentials to log in.
     
  • Step 3
    Download Sample .pcaps
    You will need a software subscription to do live capture, but use some of our captures to evaluate the tool!
